20 Apr CYBERPINK® Update: Print Files, TCG News, Chibis, and New Character!

P.A. Lopez here with some exciting updates on all things CYBERPINK! It’s only been a few days since our last update, but we’ve got too much cool stuff happening to keep quiet!
📚 Print Production Update!
The print files for Cyberpink have been officially delivered to the printer!
Next, they’ll be sending a printed proof to me here in Paris for approval. Once I give the green light (which I’ll do immediately after ensuring everything looks perfect), it will be approximately 14 days until fulfillment begins and your physical copies start shipping out.
And yes, the holochrome cover are a go, and I’ve also upgraded to the highest quality paper for all printed issues! Those physical rewards are about to become tangible reality!

🃏 Introducing “Battle of the Bands” TCG!
Many of you asked about a Cyberpink trading card game, and we’re STOKED to announce that we’ve been developing exactly that with artwork from Sparklepuff Dimensional Lab!
Cyberpink: Battle of the Bands will be a fast-paced card game where you’ll manage lunar music acts, book venues, and battle other bands for fan love.
(We’ll need a budget to produce this, but that’s kind of a secondary priority at this point. At the moment my priority is getting the next few issues of Cyberpink® to you and also the first issue of Vox Wormhall: Robot Detective — both of which Sam is working hard to deliver!)
The 44-card starter deck will feature:
- Character cards with unique abilities (L can shut down opponents with her “Cutting Remark” while Stacyÿ’s “Fashion Statement” keeps your hand full of options)
- Venue cards like the Lunar Arena (where gravity is optional) and Underground Club (half the oxygen, twice the energy!)
- Equipment boosts from Vintage Guitars to Hyperdimensional Snacktifiers that temporarily turn your band members into sentient food (yes, really)
- Special Events like Fan Frenzy and P.E.S.T. Infestation (courtesy of Aspen Colby’s electronic sabotage termites)
- Reaction cards that let you shout “Not today, Aspen!” (Counterpoint) or insist you “Can’t hear you over the awesome!” (Block That Noise!)
- We’ve also packed in some fun elements from the Cyberpink universe you haven’t seen just yet:
- Beyond Dimensional cards that tie into plot points you’ll see in issue #10 (no spoilers, but the Myn are up to something!)
- Special genre types including the “Snack” genre (yes, Professor Snackworth aka Moon Munchies who you’ll be meeting around Issue 6 is a playable character!)
Comeback mechanics that help trailing players stage dramatic turnarounds.

🔥 New Character: Vanessa Cruz aka “Midas”
Your suggestions continue to inspire us! We’re excited to introduce our newest character who’ll be appearing in both the TCG and future Cyberpink stories: Vanessa Cruz, known throughout the lunar music scene as “Midas” for her unmatched ability to create stars.
Vanessa is a legendary band promoter and live performance specialist who navigates the world in a sleek, hovering wheelchair equipped with cutting-edge tech.
Her chair features a screen (and sometimes a full hologram) displaying her digital avatar, but she’s always recognizable by her sharp wit and brutally honest feedback that transforms struggling bands into stellar performers.
🧸 Merchandise Update – Chibi Madness!
By popular request, we’ve been developing some new merchandise designs, including chibi versions of the Cyberpink crew that we think you’re going to LOVE. More details coming soon!
